Design and Development Engineer , Chennai

My work was focused on design and manufacturing of floor and over-head conveyors and spares for bulk and unit handling. Worked with notable customers in the automotive and cement industry.

Also started the development of AGVs and IOT systems.

Industrial Internships

Voaige | 2023

Robot Software Intern,Pittsburgh

Inter Process communication was my primary focus during this internship. Communication pipeline is being developed for communication between the industrial PC running the deep learning pipeline for pose estimation and the PLC / Robot Controller for CAD less multi SKU picking applications. Additionally I was also involved in understanding existing solutions, the pain points customers have with those solutions and identify possible improvements for out system for better Customer Success.

IAM Robotics | 2022–23

Robot Software Intern,Pittsburgh

Inter Process communication was my primary focus during this internship. Communication channels were developed following AGILE methodologies for services that run on the robot to interface with simulation and visualization tools. Briefly worked on the re-design of the Extended Kalman Filter for localization also implemented the EKF for filtering the sensor data that was being utilized by the localization package. General tasks included PR reviews, finding and fixing bugs and testing the robots with the latest codes as developers before handing off to QA. Additional observed and assisted the development of a redundant planner, the Conformal Lattice Planner.

Maruti Suzuki | 2018

Automation Intern, Gurgaon

Worked on the ASRS extension system for finished engines. Contributed to the calibration of the engine bore auto oiling system. Got training and practiced the Japanese techniques like kizen, 5S, 3R & 3M.

Honda Scooters and Motorcycles | 2018

Quality Intern, Narsapura

Performed a Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility study in the engine shop for honing of the piston bore. Also studied the Human Factors influence in the assembly line.

BAJA SAE India | 2017-19

Participant, Indore

The BAJA SAE Series® is an event for the undergraduate engineering students, organized globally by the Society of Automotive Engineers, USA. The BAJA SAE tasks the students to design, fabricate and validate a single seater four – wheeled off road vehicle to take part in series of events spread over a course of 4 days that test the vehicle for the sound engineering practices that have gone into it, the agility of the vehicle in terms of gradability, speed, acceleration and manoeuvrability characteristics and finally its ability to endure that back breaking durability test.

Enduro Student India | 2017-19

Enduro Student India is an off-road student design competition bred from the need to train engineering students on practical aspect of building something with their own hands and also train them on the science of team management.
